Edson Arantes do Nacimiento, he was known as Pelé, he was born on October 23, 1940. He started at the Santos Football club team where he started his football career and where he played most of his football career. Pelé played with number 10 and played as a striker. Pelé was considered one of the best footballers in the world. For them FIFA chose him as the best player of the twentieth century. He has received many awards. Pelé died on December 29, 2022 at the age of 81 from colon cancer.
