 Amelia Mary Earhart, was known as Amelia Earhart, she was the first aviator who crossed in 
the Atlantic Ocean alone. Born in Kansas on July 24 of 1897, the young pilot disappeared in the Pacific on July 2, 1937, when he was en route to Howland Island.   Abel Martinez Padilla
